Provided at no cost:
- Talk one-on-one with a staff member knowledgeable about vision loss
- Determine if magnifiers, reading machines, or other adaptive devices may be beneficial
- Learn how to cope with vision loss
- Learn how to travel safely in the community
- Learn practical skills such as how to safely cook and effectively perform other daily activities
- Learn how people with vision problems use computers
- Revive joy of reading through:
- Talking books
- Radio access to newspapers, magazines, and books
- Touchtone phone access to newspapers
- Custom audio recording and custom Braille
