Follow these instructions to troubleshoot headset issues in Genesys.
Troubleshooting steps:
Set up headset through Windows
Windows set up for all audio or for just communication.
1. Plug the headset into the computer.
2. Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar notification area of your desktop (near the clock).
3. Click Sounds.
4. Click the Playback tab.
5. Click the headset icon.
6. To use the headset for listening to the PureCloud Softphone and all other computer audio, choose Default Device from the drop-down menu.
7. To use the headset for listening only to the PureCloud Softphone and other communication, choose Default Communications Device from the drop-down menu.
8. Click the Recording tab.
9. Click the headset icon.
10. To use the headset microphone for the PureCloud Softphone and all other computer use, choose Default Device from the drop-down menu.
11. To use the headset microphone for the PureCloud Softphone and other communication, choose Default Communication Device from the drop-down menu.
