 When to use:

A brief overview of how to make a call in Genesys with more than 3 parties. The most common scenario is when you are working with an interpreter.

 Step-by-step:

1. While on a call in interactions, place the caller on hold and navigate to the call button in your left-hand navigation menu. Use the dial pad to enter a number or type in the name of a contact (it will appear if the contact is in the Genesys Directory) and press the green "call" button to make the call to that person.

2. When the third person is on the line and ready for client to join call, use the down arrow and click "merge".

3. When all three parties are connected and you need to add another, use the dropdown arrow and select “Add Participant.” This will open a dial-pad for you to enter a number or search for a contact in our directory. Click the call icon and they will automatically join the call.

4. Need to add additional parties? Repeat step D.

5. From this screen, you can hover over each user to place them on hold or disconnect them.

6. When complete, hang up the call by selecting the phone and down arrow button. Navigate back to interactions, complete your after-call work, select a wrap-up code, and press done.
