What is the Medicare Plan Finder tool?
The Medicare Plan Finder tool is hosted at Medicare.gov and allows beneficiaries to compare the Medicare plans they are eligible for.
For information about how to use the tool, see the How to: Medicare Plan Finder: Step-by-step quick reference (insert link).
General feedback:
For general feedback about the Medicare Plan Finder:
- Senior LinkAge Line staff will relay any ideas and feedback about the tool to their supervisors.
- Supervisors will be able to share ideas and feedback received during the Medicare OEP supervisor calls or via support request.
- The state Senior LinkAge Line team will compile that feedback and send to ACL/CMS.
Beneficiary issues:
UPDATE: CMS has revised their policy of reporting problems with the Medicare Plan Finder.
- Call the 1-888-647-6701 (CMS SHIP Unique ID phone number) to help the beneficiary get what they need as quickly as possible. This also makes CMS aware of the potential Medicare Plan Finder (MPF) issue for further tracking and resolution as necessary.
