When to use:
Fifty (50) + items
When you get a call from a person (typically a provider or county) who wants a larger number of Senior LinkAge Line printed materials to distribute, ask your supervisor to submit a support request. This should be done for orders of 50 or more per item.
Fewer than 50 items
Remember, if you receive a request for materials for fewer than 50 items from anywhere in the state, your office should send them. There is no need to refer it to the region of where the caller is located.
Procedure for Senior LinkAge Line staff:
- Find out what item they are requesting. If they already have some, ask them the item number, which is located on the bottom of the item.
- Ask how many of each item they are requesting. We typically don’t send more than 250 of each item, unless they have a very specific need for a larger amount.
- Ask for their name, mailing address (not a P.O. box) and phone number.
- Share this information with your supervisor for submitting a support request using the communications and education pathway.
